I am not a makeup girl.
I want to be, I really do. But my morning regime extends to a mum bun, foundation to cover the spots and blotches, maybe some lippy, a lot of perfume and sunglasses. Wallah.
Oh but some days I really want to have that glossy, dewy skin thing going on. I want that lipstick that distracts from my sleepy eyes. Why is my hair always on the frizz? And what is this fascination with coconut water?
Now those of you who follow my blog know I am a big fan of Bellabox.
And just to be clear, I was so excited that the lovely BB crew offered to gift me the July box for review, though I have had my own 12 month subscription with them previously.
Bellabox is such a clever business for those who love beauty products and want to give everything a try. But it is also a great service for the likes of me; the ones who artfully dodge the beauty counters on the ground floor of the department stores for fear they will grab you and force weird and wonderful products on you, all the whilst telling you you’re looking a little tired and your skin is a smidge dry. (*eye roll)
WHAT IS BELLABOX?
I do want to learn more about beauty and makeup, and of course I do want to feel good about myself and my appearance. I am in my mid 40’s now, and slapping on bright red lippy, sometimes just isn’t enough anymore. So Bellabox is a gorgeous package of goodies that is sent out to you in the mail. Who doesn’t love a little surprise parcel in the post?! It has a full of a range of products designed to give you a sample of from pimple patches, to travel cups, to toothbrushes. Makeup, skin creams, gel cushions for your feet; Bellabox really tries to cover the whole gamut of goods. Classic items plus a healthy splash of trending new beauty products to try out. There is an exciting new box to discover on the reg, depending on your subscription. This is the July box that I received here.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
All you need to do is jump over to their website, and have a look at how their subscription works. There are a few different options, but one is that you can make a quarterly payment of $59.95 and receive over $200 worth of items! This deal allows you to cancel your subscription at any time. I also love that Bellabox really wants to hear what you think. You are encouraged to review and rate the boxes and you really do become part of a special team. There are giveaways, terrific content and recommendations on their blog and you may even have the chance to see some BB demonstrations.
We all talk about the idea of ‘self-care’. We know as busy women we really need to do something for ourselves. Here is a wonderful solution to actually make it happen. Something just for you. Trust me; you will want to video your very own ‘unboxing’ soon, too.
**But here’s a tip ; just make sure you hide your Bellabox from your 5 year old daughters. Farewell eye shadow; it was unfair that you spent your short days in my home as tiger stripes.
